LeadingIT, a Top 250 MSSP, has acquired cybersecurity technology solutions company Dura-Tech Enterprises for an undisclosed sum. Cogent Growth Partners, a buy-side M&A consultancy, advised LeadingIT on the deal.
This is technology M&A deal number 375 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.
Dura-Tech expands LeadingIT's footprint and allows LeadingIT to continue to deliver advanced cybersecurity services to customers across the Chicagoland area of Illinois, the companies said. It also represents LeadingIT's second acquisition in the area.
A Closer Look at Dura-Tech
Dura-Tech is "an expert resource for IT support," according to the company. It provides a variety of cybersecurity services, including:
- Cloud Security: Helps organizations migrate to the cloud and secure their cloud operations.
- Data Security: Consists of layered security services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
- Proactive IT Management: Offers anti-malware, antivirus and other IT security services.
Dura-Tech has partnered with Fortinet and other cybersecurity companies.
LeadingIT Acquires MSP Class Computing
The Dura-Tech acquisition comes after LeadingIT in March 2021 purchased Chicago-based MSP Class Computing. With the Class acquisition, LeadingIT enhanced its offerings and bolstered its downtown Chicago presence, the company indicated.
LeadingIT delivers cybersecurity and IT support to over 200 organizations across the Chicagoland area. It also employs a team of more than 25 help desk and network engineers.
Meanwhile, LeadingIT continues to look to acquire MSPs and help them grow faster and more efficiently in the Chicagoland market, the company said. It also plans to drive organic growth and talent acquisition.
