Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Cloud Security Advancement: SentinelOne, an AI-powered security specialist, has launched Singularity Cloud Native Security. The solution is built on SentinelOne’s acquisition of PingSafe in February 2024, delivering an agentless Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) designed to assess environments like a hacker would, simulating attack methods to provide a prioritized, evidence-based list of exploit pathways that security teams can use to prioritize their time and prevent attacks before they happen, the company said.

2. Security Partnership: Nozomi Networks, a specialist in operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) security, and Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, have expanded their global partnership to strengthen and streamline the way industrial and enterprise chief information security officers (CISOs) and their teams anticipate, diagnose and respond to cyber threats across all their critical business operations. Nozomi Networks and Google Security Operations customers will have the option to combine Mandiant threat intelligence and incident response with Nozomi's threat intelligence to gain comprehensive access to real-time information about threats to their IT, OT and IoT systems, the companies said.

3. AI-Powered Security Collaboration: Securonix is collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to use Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service that offers a choice of high-performing foundation models from leading artificial intelligence (AI) companies via a single API. The collaboration provides a broad set of capabilities organizations need to build generative AI applications with security, privacy and responsible AI within its newly introduced suite of AI capabilities, Securonix EON, the company said.

4. Generative AI Release: Palo Alto Networks has introduced a host of new security solutions to help enterprises thwart AI-generated attacks and effectively secure AI-by-design. Palo Alto Networks' Precision AI is a new proprietary innovation that combines machine learning and deep learning with the accessibility of generative AI for security capabilities that can outpace adversaries and more proactively protect networks and infrastructure, the company said.

5. Funding Round: Anetac, a Silicon Valley startup protecting companies from blind spots of service accounts in hybrid environments, has emerged from stealth mode. The company announced a funding investment totaling $16 million, which "will bring necessary disruption" to the identity and security market by providing an intuitive, rapidly deployable SaaS solution, the company said.

6. Managed XDR Partnership: CyberProof has extended its partnership with Google Cloud focused on leveraging Google Chronicle Security Operations and other Google Cloud Security solutions to extend the capabilities of CyberProof's managed XDR services. With this partnership, CyberProof has expanded its security service offerings to help clients work across organizational and functional silos, delivering an end-to-end service experience, the company said.

7. New Cyber Solutions Debut: Tanium, a converged endpoint management (XEM) provider, has brought to market two joint solutions, Tanium ITX and Tanium Security Operations for ServiceNow, powered by the Now Platform. These new solutions allow CISOs, CIOs and IT leaders to address complex challenges of IT estate management via an integrated, strategic platform approach with end-to-end automation and control, the company said.

8. Secure Remote Access Partnership: Cyolo, a secure remote access company for operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS), has formed a strategic partnership with Dragos, a cybersecurity provider for ICS and OT environments. Under the umbrella of Cyolo’s CyoloVerse partner program, Cyolo's PRO Secure Remote Access Platform will work with Dragos’ OT cybersecurity platform.

9. NIST Framework Feature Launch: CyberSaint, a cyber risk management company, has released the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) Benchmarking Feature. CSF allows CISOs and security teams to measure their NIST posture against industry peers through a historical maturity graph on the CyberStrong Executive Dashboard.

10. Scam Intelligence Release: Netcraft, a specialist in digital risk protection and threat intelligence, has unveiled its new Conversational Scam Intelligence platform. By engaging criminals identified through its proprietary threat intelligence in private message threads, Netcraft’s AI exposes the scam in its entirety, extracting critical insight that can be used to disrupt and prevent future attacks. This approach helps protect against tactics like pig-butchering, where scammers leverage direct messages, a previously undetectable threat source, to lure victims into sending money to fraudulent schemes, the company said.

11. Healthcare Cyberattack Reported: Mobile medical care firm DocGo confirmed it suffered a cyberattack after threat actors breached its systems and stole patient health data. DocGo is a healthcare provider that offers mobile health services, ambulance services and remote monitoring for patients in thirty U.S. states and across the U.K. In an 8-K filing filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), DocGo gave notice of the cyberattack and said it is working with third-party cybersecurity experts to assist in the investigation.
