Apple Zero Day Vulnerabilities: How to Patch Macs, iPhones and iPads

<> on February 1, 2018 in San Francisco, California.

Apple has released security updates to protect Mac, iPhone and iPad systems from serious vulnerabilities. If left unpatched, hackers can potentially exploit the Zero Day vulnerabilities to gain full administration control of Apple devices, security experts warned.

MSSPs and MSPs that offer vulnerability and patch management services should review the Apple security updates page for the following products and apply the necessary updates as soon as possible, CISA asserted:

The patches protect Apple devices from Zero Day vulnerabilities at the browser and kernel level, Naked Security reported. If left unpatched, hackers could exploit the issues and impersonate the device's owner and subsequently run any software in their name, Rachel Tobac, CEO of SocialProof Security,  told the Associated Press.

Apple did not disclose who discovered the vulnerabilities.
