MDR Security Partnership: Alert Logic, Avant Announce Master Distributor Agreement

Alert Logic and Avant have inked a master distributor agreement to deliver managed detection and response (MDR) solutions to global organizations, the two companies say. The agreement was announced at the Avant Special Forces Summit in Austin, Texas.

Alert Logic's MDR solutions allow Avant service providers to tap threat detection capabilities, the companies noted. Furthermore, they give these service providers access to security analysts who can identify and respond to data breaches.

In addition, Avant service providers can leverage Alert Logic's MDR solutions to help organizations improve their security posture, Avant President Drew Lydecker stated. They also can use these solutions to ensure that organizations can comply with cybersecurity mandates.

Alert Logic Extends MSP Engagements, Channel Market Reach

Along with its Avant agreement, Alert Logic has made several moves to extend its channel market reach in September 2021.

Alert Logic introduced two continuous sales performance incentives for new MSP partners and their team members. With Alert Logic's First Deal incentive, a partner account representative or sales engineer can earn $750 for closing or winning their first deal with the company. Meanwhile, Alert Logic's partner incentive awards account executives and sales engineers up to $1,000 the first time they register, win or close a deal or generate an opportunity.

Also, Alert Logic in September 2021 began letting its MSP partners to run email and social media campaigns from within its partner portal. MSPs can load their own private contacts into Alert Logic's partner portal, set up nurture campaigns and run the campaigns directly from there at no cost.

Alert Logic offers MDR solutions that cover public clouds, SaaS, on-premises and hybrid environments. MSSPs and other channel partners can use these solutions to help their customers identify and address security gaps.
