Credit: ePlus

ePlus has integrated Alert Logic managed detection and response (MDR) capabilities into its Managed Cloud Security Service, according to a prepared statement. In doing so, ePlus offers continuous threat monitoring and threat intelligence to help organizations secure their cloud deployments.

Alert Logic MDR allows ePlus customers to leverage threat intelligence and security experts to identify cyber threats, the companies indicated. It provides ePlus customers with real-time access to information on security risks, vulnerabilities, remediation activities, configuration exposures and compliance status.

In addition, Alert Logic MDR collects network traffic and more than 60 billion log messages daily, the company noted. It also delivers asset visibility and security analytics for networks, applications and endpoints.

Public Cloud MSP Mission Partners with Alert Logic

Along with ePlus, Mission, a Top 200 Public Cloud MSP, last week launched its Mission MDR service with Alert Logic.

Organizations can leverage Mission MDR for threat assessment and remediation and compliance reporting across their Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, the company indicated. They also can use the service to receive notifications about security issues, obtain security insights and uncover best practices to guard against cyber threats.

Alert Logic is working with ePlus, Mission and other cybersecurity companies to extend its MDR market reach. Furthermore, Alert Logic recently launched an MSP tier for its Partner Connect program and looks poised to capitalize on the rising demand for MDR among global organizations.

The global MDR market is projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 16.4 percent between 2020 and 2024, according to research from industry analyst Frost & Sullivan. This market also could be worth $1.9 billion by 2024.
