KnowBe4 Launches Mobile Security Awareness Training App

Credit: KnowBe4

The new Mobile Learner App from KnowBe4 is designed to supplement its security awareness and compliance training platform. Organizations can utilize the app to engage end-users in security awareness and compliance training and drive a culture of security, according to KnowBe4.

The Mobile Learner App provides iOS and Android device users with access to more than training modules, KnowBe4 said. It also supports push notifications for custom announcements and provides updates on assigned training.

KnowBe4 customers can now access the Mobile Learner App free of charge with a training platform subscription.

Human Detection and Response Delivered

The Mobile Learner App announcement comes after KnowBe4 in November 2022 released SecurityCoach, an HDR product that delivers real-time security coaching.

SecurityCoach correlates, identifies and responds to events related to risky security behaviors across an organization's user base, KnowBe4 said. It allows IT and security professionals to use an organization's existing security stack to develop and configure real-time coaching campaigns. In addition, these professionals can deliver a SecurityTip to provide real-time coaching to users related to risky security behaviors.

Vista Equity Partners Purchases KnowBe4

Private equity firm Vista Equity Partners in October 2022 announced plans to acquire KnowBe4 for $4.6 billion. The deal was finalized less than one month after KnowBe4 disclosed that Vista Equity was interested in buying the company.

KnowBe4 offers security awareness and compliance training solutions to more than 52,000 organizations globally. The company offers a partner program that allows MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers to integrate security awareness and compliance training services into their portfolios.
