Aella Data Launches MSSP Partner Program
Aella Data, a company that specializes in artificial intelligence-based cybersecurity solutions, has launched a partner program that enables MSSPs to offer managed services using the company’s Starlight 2.0 multi-tenant breach detection system.
With the partner program, MSSPs can leverage Starlight to improve their threat detection and incident response proficiency, according to a prepared statement.
Starlight is a Pervasive Breach Detection System (PBDS) that uses threat data and analysis to speed up incident detection and alerting, Aella noted. It enables MSSPs to apply machine learning analysis to a tenant’s data, detect, prevent and mitigate breaches and help organizations meet data privacy and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR) requirements.
Also, Starlight is built on Aella’s Distributed Security Intelligence architecture, which performs data collection, processing and breach detection and applies multiple machine learning techniques across an organization’s IT infrastructure, the company said. The system uses AI to monitor and learn from a network and provides a complete view of an organization’s attack surface.
Other Starlight features include:
- AI-powered analysis.
- Breach detection at every phase of the cybersecurity kill chain.
- Data collection, correlation and inspection.
- Real-time and historic analysis and detection.
- Sensors to eliminate network blind spots.
Starlight establishes a baseline behavior model for an organization’s IT environment and automatically identifies anomalous behaviors and breaches, Aella stated. In addition, Starlight can be deployed across container, physical, virtual, hybrid, private data center and public cloud environments.
What Is Aella?
Aella emerged from stealth mode in March, and the company’s leadership team includes industry veterans from Juniper Networks, Fortinet and other cybersecurity firms. It also is backed by NetScreen co-founder Feng Deng and venture firm Northern Light Venture Capital.
Organizations can use Aella solutions to collect and analyze data across networks, servers, applications and intelligence feeds, according to the company. That way, organizations can leverage Aella solutions to quickly detect cyberattacks on critical data systems.
Aella has distributors to support MSSP, end user and value-added reseller (VAR) sign-ups in Asia, the company stated. Furthermore, Aella is scaling rapidly and expects to raise additional funding this year.
