GuardiCore Expands Partner Program, Offers Support for MSSPs

GuardiCore, a hybrid cloud workload protection platform company, now enables MSSPs to leverage the visibility, micro-segmentation and real-time breach detection and response capabilities of its Centra Security Platform.

With the expanded GuardiCore Partner Program, MSSPs can use GuardiCore capabilities to provide managed detection and response (MDR), microsegmentation-as-a-service and managed cloud workload protection offerings, according to a prepared statement.

The GuardiCore Partner Program enables MSSPs to deliver differentiated go-to-market managed security services, protect customer data and drive potential new revenue streams, the company said.

Key features of the GuardiCore Partner Program include:

  • Enablement tools and resources.
  • Marketing funds.
  • Marketing, sales and technical support.
  • Playbooks.

In addition, the GuardiCore Partner Program enables MSSPs to leverage the company's Centra Security Platform to control hybrid clouds across any environment. The Centra Security Platform also provides MSSPs with micro-segmentation, breach detection and incident response and other MDR capabilities.

How Does the Centra Security Platform Work?

The Centra Security Platform allows MSSPs to leverage a lightweight, distributed component across a data center environment to monitor all connections using multiple detection methods, GuardiCore indicated. It detects cyberattackers, advanced persistent threats (APTs) and bots and provides MSSPs with automated mitigation and remediation of infected servers.

Notable Centra Security Platform features include:

  • Flow Visibility: Provides a visual map of all application workloads.
  • Incident Response: Offers cyberattack isolation and remediation recommendations to accelerate incident response.
  • Reputation Analysis: Detects suspicious domain names, IP addresses and file hashes.

The Centra Security Platform provides security controls in a single platform, GuardiCore indicated. It also helps MSSPs reduce security management complexity and eliminates the need for multiple point solutions in hybrid cloud environments.

GuardiCore Updates Open Source Attack Simulation Tool

GuardiCore last month announced a new version of Infection Monkey, its open source attack simulation tool designed to help security professionals identify weaknesses in data centers and cloud environments.

Infection Monkey now supports attacking hosts using several new techniques that are safe, automatic and potentially wormable, according to a prepared statement. It also supports Docker containers, Debian Linux and Windows MSI, along with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments.

GuardiCore was founded by Pavel Gurvich and Ariel Zeitlin, both of whom held cybersecurity roles in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). It is backed by venture capital firms 83North, Battery Ventures and TPG Growth and provides workload protection for any cloud or data center.
