LookingGlass Raises $26.3 Million for Cybersecurity, MSSP Partnerships

LookingGlass Cyber Solutions, a Virginia-based company that specializes in unified threat protection for enterprises and government agencies, has secured $26.3 million in a funding round comprised of mezzanine debt financing and incremental venture capital.

The following investors participated in the funding round:

  • Alsop Louie Partners.
  • Eastward Capital.
  • Neuberger Berman.
  • New Spring Capital.
  • Triangle Peak Partners.

LookingGlass will use the funding to further accelerate its international sales and drive its portfolio expansion, the company said in a prepared statement. The business previously partnered with companies in Singapore, UAE, India and Japan.

In addition, LookingGlass intends to expand its Cyber Guardian Network partner program for MSSPs, solution providers, systems integrators and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), the company stated.

A Closer Look at the Cyber Guardian Network Partner Program

The Cyber Guardian Network partner program was launched in December and provides MSSPs and other partners with access to various LookingGlass threat intelligence solutions, including:

  • ScoutPrime: Enables third-party risk monitors, security operations centers (SOCs) and threat researchers to leverage advanced threat scoring and use threat intelligence to make informed decisions.
  • ScoutShield: Delivers automated real-time threat mitigation to address sophisticated security attacks.
  • ScoutVision: Combines real-time global internet intelligence with correlated threat data feeds.

Furthermore, Cyber Guardian Network partners can offer LookingGlass’ cybersecurity awareness training to help customers reduce cyber risk.

The Cyber Guardian Network features a “pay as you grow” model that requires revenue sharing, as well as a standard MSSP model, according to LookingGlass. It also provides partners with sales and technical enablement tools, co-branded marketing collateral and automated deal registration capabilities.

With the Cyber Guardian Network, partners can provide threat protection to commercial and government customers, LookingGlass said. The program features more than 40 partners, including CenturyLink, which joined the Cyber Guardian Network this month to provide business customers with LookingGlass’ threat intelligence solutions.
