JKL Web Technologies, a California-based IT solutions provider, has announced a partnership with Philadelphia area managed information security services provider BTB Security. Together, the companies intend to help organizations take "a holistic approach not only to security but to  entire online presence," JKL said in a prepared statement.

JKL offers various web services, such as:

  • Accessibility.
  • Design.
  • Performance.
  • Search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Usability.

In addition, JKL provides security services, and the company's security offerings help organizations protect code against attacks based on outside reviews, according to the business.

Cybersecurity Partnership

With the BTB partnership, JKL now possesses the resources to "provide a better overall approach to  client's needs and goals," the company noted.

The partnership ensures JKL customers can leverage BTB's Rapid Advanced Detection and Response (RADAR) managed information security service, JKL pointed out, to improve their security defense through correlation, detection, incident response, monitoring and threat hunting.

"We had a strong defensive approach, but we knew we were not strong on the preemptive strikes," JKL Managing Partner Jeffrey Walton said in a prepared statement. "So, we sought an ally and landed on the shores of BTB. Together, we have formed an alliance that not only strengthens the both of us but our clients will bolster their front line defense so they stay out of the headlines."

What Is BTB RADAR?

RADAR is designed to complement an organization's security program, BTB noted, and offers an alternative to traditional security monitoring infrastructure or services.

The service provides actionable, verified threat information, according to BTB, and delivers complete visibility into an IT environment.

Also, BTB indicated RADAR supports three cybersecurity requirements:

  • Visibility: Provides visibility into each device, network segment and endpoint across an IT environment.
  • Detection: Enables organizations to identify cyber threats in real-time and gain actionable threat intelligence.
  • Response: Offers automatic intelligence and response to help organizations contain and control cyber threats.

BTB assists more than 120 customers across several industries, including education, financial services, government, healthcare and retail.

Moreover, the company has completed more than 400 projects to date and has 23 employees on staff.

Cybersecurity partnerships involving MSSPs, MSPs and IT consulting firms are becoming more prevalent. A sampling of relationships is listed below.
