NTT Extends Network Detection and Response to AWS Cloud

NTT, a Top 250 MSSP, has released its Cyber Threat Sensor AI (CTS-AI) network detection and response (NDS) solution for Amazon Web Services (AWS) client applications and workloads.

CTS-AI protects AWS applications and data in the cloud without the need for hardware or cybersecurity experts, NTT stated. It is intended for organizations that are looking to integrate NDR capabilities into their existing cybersecurity tools or lack the resources to deploy, manage and support a threat monitoring and alerting solution.

CTS-AI combines AI and machine learning with human-validated threat intelligence, according to NTT. The solution scans internet traffic and curates threat data from over 100 intelligence and 50 partner feeds and validates threats to ensure accurate contextualization and prioritization.

Meanwhile, CTS-AI users can access the solution's features and receive alerts on their mobile devices, NTT said. They also can view activity logs and reports through a mobile app or web interface and create custom policies that define the type and frequency of alerts they want to receive and the control actions they want performed.

CTS-AI is now available free of charge to NTT customers as part of a promotional period. NTT also expects to offer CTS-AI on various marketplaces in the future.

NTT initially rolled out CTS-AI to affected organizations in response to the SolarWinds Orion supply chain cyberattack. It is one of several MSSPs to partner with AWS to help organizations secure their cloud applications and workloads.

NTT, NEC Unveil Supply Chain Security Risk Reduction Technology for ICT Infrastructure

Meanwhile, NTT and Japanese information technology company NEC Corp in October 2021 have introduced Security Transparency Assurance Technology to reduce supply chain security risks.

Security Transparency Assurance Technology shares system configurations and network device and information system risks across information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, according to a prepared statement. In doing so, the technology increases visibility across the supply chain.

NTT is a global ICT solutions provider. It delivers cybersecurity and other technology services via an integrated platform to over 50,000 customers worldwide.
