Introducing Trustwave's Threat Hunting Service for Government Agencies

Trustwave last year launched Threat Hunting for Government, which provides government agencies with insights into security vulnerabilities.

Threat Hunting for Government combines Trustwave's cloud and managed security services with Trustwave SpiderLabs investigations. It allows government agencies to use behavioral analytics and threat intelligence to identify cyber threats, isolate malicious behavior and mitigate data breaches.

US Government Agencies Susceptible to Data Breaches

Seventy-one percent of U.S. federal agencies have experienced a data breach, according to a recent survey of 1,200 senior security executives conducted by cybersecurity and defense solutions provider Thales and analyst firm 451 Research. Also, 57 percent of survey respondents said their agency had been breached in the prior year.

Meanwhile, U.S. government agencies frequently deal with a lack of funding and staffing and outdated systems that increase cyber risk, Thales and 451 Research indicated. As these agencies search for ways to combat cyberattacks, they could partner with Trustwave and other MSSPs to bolster their cybersecurity strategies.
