Uplevel Security Launches MSSP, Channel Partner Program

Uplevel Security has launched a partner program for MSSPs and technology resellers. The first partner onboard is a big name: Optiv, a Top 100 MSSP.

Uplevel's technology ingests alert data and threat intelligence from multiple sources including SIEMs, security devices, intelligence feeds and data lakes, the company says. Then, Uplevel applies threat intelligence to the data, and relationships are automatically identified, the company claims.

The Uplevel Partner Program allows MSSPs and technology resellers to integrate Uplevel's Haven graph analysis tool into their portfolios, according to a prepared statement.

The partner program provides sales support and channel pricing discounts to MSSPs and technology resellers, Uplevel stated. It also includes a channel partner option with premier, gold and standard levels and a subscription-based MSSP option for software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies.

What Is Uplevel Haven?

Haven uses graph theory for real-time threat alert correlation, Uplevel noted. It provides security graphs based on incoming threat alerts, prior incident investigations and current threat intelligence, and by doing so, helps organizations quickly investigate cyberattacks and uncover attack patterns and trends.

Organizations can use Haven to automatically retrieve data from email servers, security devices, applications and asset management tools, Uplevel said. They then can use this data to identify incident patterns and trends within data sets and transform the information into subgraphs for further analysis.

Optiv Extends Its Cybersecurity Market Reach

In  addition to joining the Uplevel partner program, Optiv has been active on multiple fronts. The company's most recent launches include:

  • SecurePayment@Optiv: Helps organizations secure their entire payment network and comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
  • EnemyPerspectives@OptivConsists of cyber resiliency, incident response and threat actor profiling services.
  • Privileged Access Managed ServiceProtects organizations' privileged credentials against insider threats and mobile, cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) attacks

Optiv today provides managed security services, as well as identity and access management (IAM), threat and vulnerability management and third-party risk management offerings. The company also serves more than 12,000 customers globally and helps organizations plan, build and manage cybersecurity programs.
