Alert Logic Unveils MDR Security Sales Performance Incentives for MSP Partners

Alert Logic, a managed detection and response (MDR) solution provider, has announced two continuous sales performance incentives for new MSP partners and their team members.

Among the perks: The First Deal incentive awards $750 to each partner account representative or sales engineer for closing or winning their first deal with Alert Logic, the company said.

Also, Alert Logic's new partner incentive awards account executives and sales engineers:

  • $100 for the first deal registered within 60 days of a signed partner agreement;
  • $500 for the first opportunity generated within 60 days of a signed partner agreement, and
  • $1,000 for the first closed or won deal within 90 days of a signed partner agreement.

Alert Logic Offers Email, Social Media Marketing Support to MSP Partners

Along with its sales performance incentives, Alert Logic now enables MSP partners to run email and social media campaigns from within the partner portal without the need for a separate marketing automation tool.

MSPs can load their own private contacts into Alert Logic's partner portal, the company said. From here, they can set up nurture campaigns and run the campaigns directly from there at no cost.

In addition, MSPs can integrate content available through Alert Logic's partner portal into emails in a campaign, use pre-built templates and schedule all aspects of a campaign at once, the company noted. They also can share pre-written social media posts and images on their own social media channels.

Alert Logic launched its Partner Connect partner program in October 2018. The program lets MSPs, MSSPs, value-added resellers (VARs) and systems integrators (SIs) deliver its MDR solution to global organizations.

Furthermore, Alert Logic added a new Partner Connect tier in August 2020. The tier provides Alert Logic's MSP partners with access to security analysts, security consultations and tools that can be embedded into their managed services and a partner portal. 

Alert Logic has expanded its MSP pipeline by nearly 150 between September 2020 and September 2021, the company stated. It also has increased its MSP bookings by 70 percent during this time frame.

The new Alert Logic partner program perks surface roughly nine months after the MDR security company promoted CFO John Post to CEO, and hired multiple executives who previously held key roles at Carbonite and Webroot.

The executive changes and updates arrived amid Alert Logic's continued effort to position itself as the top provider of SaaS-based MDR (managed detection and response) and SOAR (security orchestration and response) services.
