PerimeterX, an application protection solutions company, has launched a partner program for service providers, systems integrators, resellers and other solution providers, according to a prepared statement.

Inaugural partner program members, among others, include:

Program members can integrate web app security solutions into their portfolios, PerimeterX stated. They also can receive sales and technical tools and account and go-to-market planning services.

What Does PerimeterX's Partner Program Mean for Solution Providers?

The partner program lets solution providers leverage PerimeterX products to identify and stop automated attacks against web apps, the company said. These products include:

  • Bot Defender: Protects against account abuse, web scraping and other bot attacks.
  • Code Defender: Guards against personally identifiable information (PII) harvesting, formjacking and digital skimming attacks.
  • Page Defender: Stops malware attacks and unwanted ad injections and extensions that otherwise redirect web visitors to malicious sites.

In addition, the partner program helps solution providers safeguard customers' proprietary content and information, PerimeterX. It also could help solution providers capitalize on the rising demand for web app security solutions.

What Does the Future Hold for the Web App Security Market?

Web app security solutions help organizations protect their websites and online services against security threats that exploit vulnerabilities in an app's code. They may protect organizations against SQL injections, cross-site scripting (XSS) and other cyberattacks that enable cybercriminals to manipulate source code or gain unauthorized access.

Meanwhile, the global app security market is projected to reach $10.7 billion in revenues by 2025, industry analyst Grand View Research indicated. Rising demand for web app security solutions also could play a role in this market's growth.
