Guardforce has announced two strategic initiatives to bolster its security services and offerings in Asia. To be clear: The company specializes in physical security and security guards. But the company also is pushing into managed IT security services.
The first move involves a partnership with Hong Kong-based penetration testing company Handshake Networking Ltd. Together, the companies will offer network risk assessment services in the Asia Pacific region.
The second move involves a robot as a service (RaaS) solution for the commercial and public sectors to facilitate thermal imaging and temperature measurements. The company has deployed more than 100 robots to date in its home market in Thailand, as well as in Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau and Malaysia.
Guardforce's Overall Goal: Expand Recurring Revenues
Guardforce's overall strategy seeks to expand into other security applications and managed security services and build new recurring revenue streams with its existing customer base and strategic partners in the region, the company says.
