Secureworks Localizes XDR for European Union Customers, Partners

Secureworks, a Top 250 MSSP, has launched a new Taegis XDR cloud data storage instance in Frankfurt, Germany, for European Union (EU) customers and channel partners that prefer to store their telemetry data within the EU, the MSSP says.

The international expansion and data localization arrive less than one month after Secureworks launched an XDR Technology Alliance Partner Program. Early participants in that program include Amazon Web ServicesZscaler and Corelight, Secureworks notes.

Taegis XDR is part of a Secureworks business evolution beyond traditional MSSP services toward software development and cloud-delivered intellectual property.

Secureworks expects Taegis to reach $150 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by the end of January 2022, and overall Taegis annual revenue will be at least $90 million to $100 million by that time, the company in March 2021.

Secureworks CEO Transition

Secureworks is also preparing for a CEO transition from to Wendy Thomas from Michael Cote in September 2021, the company announced in June 2021.

Dell Technologies owns Secureworks, though rumors about Dell potentially selling the MSSP to a new owner pop up from time to time.
