IT consulting company Wipro, which has a Top 250 MSSP business unit, has released a cybersecurity consulting solution through its Cybersecurity and Risk Services (CRS) division in Europe, according to a prepared statement.

The solution consolidates Wipro's cyber consulting capabilities under its CyberTransform cybersecurity services, the company said. It allows Wipro to deliver these services to organizations alongside its CyberShield managed services.

In addition, Wipro consultants located in Europe will work with organizations to build custom security strategies and solutions, the company indicated. That way, they can help them keep pace with an evolving threat and regulatory environment.

Wipro Partners with Palo Alto Networks

Previously, Wipro in September 2022 partnered with Palo Alto Networks to provide the following joint solutions:

  • Wipro Managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
  • Wipro Multi-Cloud Security and Unified Compliance
  • Security Intelligence for Next-Gen Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Security Management Center (SMC) and Palo Alto Networks VM-Series and physical Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions

The Wipro-Palo Alto Networks joint solutions "accelerate adoption of network and cloud security transformation for customers across sectors," said Tony Buffomante, Wipro's SVP and global head of CRS.

These solutions help organizations protect their data and ensure compliance across their hybrid workforces. They also empower organizations to secure their headquarters, branches and mobile workforces.

How Wipro Performed in 2QFY23

Wipro reported gross revenue of approximately $2.8 billion in the second quarter of fiscal year 2023, which represented a 14.6% year-over-year increase. Furthermore, Wipro recorded growth in bookings and large deal signings during the time frame, CEO Thierry Delaporte stated.

Meanwhile, Wipro continues to invest in cybersecurity. The company acquired Edgile, Ampion and Capco in 2021 and continues to explore opportunities to expand its global cybersecurity market reach.
