Bomgar Unveils Secure Access Solutions for Microsoft Azure Cloud Deplyoments

Bomgar, a secure access solutions provider, now enables managed service providers (MSPs) and other organizations to deploy its Privileged Access and Remote Support appliances in Microsoft Azure cloud environments, the company says.

With Bomgar Privileged Access and Remote Support, organizations can comply with remote access policies and regulations and ensure secure access to sensitive data stored in Azure environments, the company stated. The appliances also allow organizations to generate audit logs and video recordings, Bomgar said, to further enhance their security posture.

Bomgar Privileged Access allows organizations to provide contractors and vendors with access to sensitive data without a virtual private network (VPN), the company noted. In addition, Privileged Access provides security administrators with the ability to monitor and manage privileged access to critical systems across both private and public cloud infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Bomgar Remote Support enables organizations to deliver remote support to end users or customers via Android, iOS, Windows and other platforms, the company said. It features advanced encryption, audit trails, granular permissions, two-factor authentication and other security capabilities, Bomgar stated, to protect networks against cyber threats and ensure regulatory compliance.

Bomgar Announces Secure Remote Access Channel Partner Program

Bomgar in July launched a channel partner program to help MSPs and value-added resellers (VARs) offer its Privileged Access and Remote Support apps to customers. The program also enables Bomgar partners to deliver the Bomgar Vault app to secure, manage and administer shared passwords and credentials for privileged users.

The channel partner program was implemented to help Bomgar grow its channel bookings to more than one-third of its business, the company said in a prepared statement. Furthermore, the program features simplified partner levels, deal registration and protection and localized partner training.

More than 12,000 organizations use Bomgar to deliver support services to customers across a variety of industries, including:

  • Banking.
  • Financial services.
  • Government.
  • Insurance.
  • Retail.
  • Telecommunications.
  • Utilities.

Bomgar continues to work with MSPs, VARs and other technology partners, ensuring these organizations can help customers safeguard their endpoints and privileged credentials.
