Comodo, StackPath Partner to Deliver Combined SOC-SIEM Platform

Comodo and StackPath are working together to deliver a combined security operations center (SOC) and security information and event management (SIEM) platform.

The combined platform integrates StackPath's SIEM, machine learning and web application firewall (WAF) capabilities with Comodo's web security management solution and secure web platform, Comodo said in a prepared statement. By doing so, the combined platform enables organizations to take a holistic approach to cyber monitoring and web infrastructure defense.

In addition, Comodo and StackPath now offer each other's services, including:

  • Comodo cWatch Web: Helps organizations detect cyber threats on web servers and applications.
  • Comodo cWatch Office: Provides a security-as-a-service offering that delivers unknown file containment, advanced threat protection, web security and sandboxing for mobile endpoints and workstations.
  • StackPath Security Platform: Features a machine learning engine that enables web services on a host network to identify real-time threats and communicate information about these threats to an intelligent data repository.

Together, Comodo and StackPath provide organizations with security solutions to meet their evolving needs, StackPath CEO Lance Crosby said in a prepared statement.

Comodo Eyes Cybersecurity Partnerships

Comodo has announced several partnerships over the past few weeks as part of its efforts to bolster its cybersecurity portfolio.

In addition to the StackPath partnership, Comodo this month joined forces with Key-Systems GmbH, a German company that specializes in domain products and services. Together, the businesses have combined Comodo's SSL/TLS certificates with Key-Systems' domain and hosting solutions, according to a prepared statement.

Comodo last month announced a partnership with 3dcart, a global e-commerce platform provider, to offer Comodo's extended validation (EV) digital certificates. This partnership enables Comodo to diversify and strengthen its online payment security offerings, the company stated.

How Does Comodo Support MSPs?

Comodo continues to explore ways to extend its managed services market reach.

The company this month started offering one year of the Comodo Help Desk support service free for all MSPs. With the Help Desk service, MSPs can scale and grow their businesses faster than ever before, Comodo said in a prepared statement.

Also, Comodo last month launched Comodo Academy, an online educational portal to grant certification to thousands of MSPs and IT department users that leverage the Comodo ONE IT and security management (ITSM) platform.

Comodo today offers end-to-end security solutions across boundaries, endpoints and internal networks and authenticates, validates and secures networks and infrastructure for enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Furthermore, Comodo technologies are designed to help organizations identify and mitigate both known and unknown malware threats, the company stated.
