CYGNVS has emerged from stealth with $55 million in Series A funding led by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.
It also has introduced a cyber crisis platform designed to "empower organizations to stay Connected, Confident in Control and Compliant as they prepare for and respond to any cyber crisis," the company said.
Organizations can use CYGNVS' platform to identify ways to reduce risk before a cyber crisis begins, the company stated. The platform promotes cyber crisis preparation and practice and ensures that organizations can quickly respond to crises and minimize their costs and impact.
How CYGNVS' Cyber Crisis Platform Works
CYGNVS' cyber crisis platform is "mobile, out-of-band secure and pre-configured with built-in playbooks, industry templates and workstream assignments," the company stated. It provides organizations with a tailored cyber crisis response plan and assigns role-specific tasks to team members.
Furthermore, CYGNVS' platform can be used across mobile apps for iOS, Android and various web browsers, the company noted. The platform also is SOC2 Type 2 certified and ISO 27001 compliant.
CYGNVS Partners with AIG
Along with emerging from stealth and launching its cyber crisis platform, CYGNVS has announced a partnership with cyber insurer AIG.
AIG is helping CYGNVS develop data breach response requirements for its cyber crisis platform, the companies said. It is providing guidance that CYGNVS will use to ensure its platform can address the data breach response requirements of global organizations.
A Closer Look at CYGNVS
CYGNVS is an acronym that stands for "CYber GuidaNce Virtual Space." The company is committed to making sure that organizations "are better prepared for and can respond to a cyber crisis," according to a prepared statement.
At least 1,000 organizations are already using CYGNVS' cyber crisis platform, the company said. CYGNVS does not currently offer a channel partner program but may look to develop and launch one in the future.
