10. Saudi Arabia Allegedly Hacks Amazon CEO: Saudi Arabia accessed Jeff Bezos’ phone and obtained private data belonging to the Amazon CEO, security specialist Gavin de Becker said in an article posted on The Daily Beast Saturday, laying out the findings of his investigation, CNBC notes....

8. Facebook Removes Alleged Propaganda: Facebook said it removed pages that spread information about Pakistani politics and political leaders, the Indian government and the Pakistani military, Reuters reports. Also, the social media network removed pages and accounts linked to India’s main opposition Congress party, just days before voting begins in a general election, because of “coordinated inauthentic behavior” on the social media platform, Reuters also reported.
7. Guilty - NSA Breach: Former NSA contractor Harold "Hal" Martin, accused of the largest known security breach in US intelligence history, pleaded guilty in federal court on March 28 to one count of willfully stealing classified information, CNN reports. He admitted to taking a 2014 National Security Agency leadership briefing that's classified as Top Secret. The government has agreed to drop 19 similar counts at Martin's sentencing hearing in July, the report says.
6. Government Contractor Audits: The U.S. Department of Defense will begin auditing contractors’ cybersecurity procedures within the next 18 months, Federal News Network reports.
5. Women in Cybersecurity Scholarships: Morphisec has launched its second annual Women In Cybersecurity Scholarship program. For the 2019-2020 school year, Morphisec is offering three scholarships for female students enrolled in cybersecurity-related studies, with a top scholarship in the amount of $5,000. 4. Data Breach - Restaurants: An Earl Enterprises data breach may involve customer credit cards used at such locations as Buca di Beppo, Earl of Sandwich, Planet Hollywood, Chicken Guy!, Mixology and Tequila Taqueria. The breach may affect 2 million credit cards, according to Krebs On Security.
3. Data Breach - Email Leaks: The email addresses of nearly one billion people have been leaked in what has been described as one of the ‘biggest and most comprehensive email database’ breaches on record, Unilad reports. The target apparently was email validation firm Verifications.io, the report says.
