10. Compliance - Data Breach Fine: Heathrow Airport has been fined £120,000 by regulators following an embarrassing data breach caused by a USB stick, ZDnet reports. The London-based airport, which is the busiest in the United Kingdom, was left red-faced after an employee lost a USB stick containing 76 folders and over 1,000 confidential files, the report says.
9. Threat Hunting Report: Nearly 50 percent of digital intrusion cases involve adversaries with a nation-state nexus, while 19 percent were conducted by eCrime actors, according to a CrowdStrike threat hunting report.

7. Endpoint Detection and Response: Bitdefender has unveiled GravityZone Ultra 3.0, a single-agent, single-console endpoint protection solution that combines prevention and hardening with advanced endpoint detection and response (EDR), the company says.
6. Channel Strategy: Trustwave, a Top 100 MSSP, has partnered with AVANT Communications, a distributor and channel sales enablement company. AVANT's partner ecosystem can now leverage Trustwave’s portfolio of managed security services.
5. MSP to MSSP partnerships: Roughly 87% of MSPs have lost customers because their IT offering lacked security solutions the customer was seeking, according to a recent Collabrance report. Amid that reality, MSPs are increasingly pursing partnerships with MSSPs, Collabrance asserts. MSSP Alert agrees.
4. Expansion: ON2IT, which claims to be one of Europe's largest pure-play cybersecurity service providers, has opened of its first U.S. office in Plano, Texas. Former IBM VP Kristie Bell is CEO of On2IT's U.S. division.
3. Funding: Paladin Cyber, a cyber protection company focused on defending small and medium businesses against security threats, has raised $3.6 million in funding, bringing its total funding since launch to $4.5 million.
2. M&A - Cybersecurity Software: Private equity firm Thoma Bravo is acquiring Imperva for $2.1 billion, the companies confirmed this morning. Still, there's a go-shop period that allows Imperva to solicit other bids for the company.
