Oracle Unveils Identity SOC Security Network Partner Program

Oracle has launched a partner program for its Identity Security Operations Center (SOC) security portfolio. The new program, Identity SOC Security Network in Oracle Cloud Marketplace, enables partners to leverage the context, intelligence and automation capabilities of Identity SOC to bolster their cybersecurity offerings, according to a prepared statement.

Identity SOC Security Network boasts technology integrations with security vendors across enterprise mobility management, endpoint security, next-generation firewalls and threat intelligence, Oracle said. It helps partners improve collaboration with security vendors, Oracle stated, and simplify customer adoption.

In addition, Oracle has upgraded its Identity SOC security portfolio, which now includes:

  • Artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
  • Automated identity governance for hybrid clouds.
  • Consumer identity management capabilities.
  • Machine learning-driven configuration management.
  • Risk-based cloud access control.

These features are designed to help organizations protect their clouds and digital services, Oracle noted. They also enable organizations to manage and certify user identities, applications and confidential data, Oracle said, and identify and resolve security threats faster than ever before.

What Is Identity SOC?

The Identity SOC security portfolio delivers identity and context-aware intelligence and automation capabilities to security professionals, according to Oracle. It helps security professionals detect and respond to advanced threats and persistent attacks, Oracle said, and provides a feedback loop for adaptation and evolution.

Identity SOC includes a variety of cloud security solutions, including:

  • Cloud access security broker (CASB).
  • Configuration and compliance.
  • Database security.
  • Identity and access management (IAM).
  • Security monitoring and analytics.

Ultimately, Identity SOC empowers security professionals to protect users, applications, content and workloads, Oracle stated. It features optimized dashboards and a risk console for security professionals, Oracle said, and provides security feeds throughout a cloud environment.

Oracle Introduces Cloud-Based Intelligent and Security Management Suite

Oracle in October unveiled a cloud-native intelligent security and management suite at its OpenWorld conference in San Francisco. The suite leverages AI and other advanced technologies to help organizations forecast, detect and address cyber threats and remediate application and infrastructure performance issues, Oracle said in a prepared statement.

Meanwhile, Oracle recorded total revenues of $9.2 billion in the first quarter of fiscal year 2018, up 7 percent year over year. The company also posted cloud revenues of $1.5 billion during the time frame, which represented a 51 percent year-over-year increase.

Oracle supports 430,000 customers in 175 countries. The company may continue to explore cloud security innovations as it strives to further accelerate its revenue growth.
