Skyhigh Adds Autonomous Remediation, DLP to Cloud Security Platform

Skyhigh Networks, a cloud access security broker (CASB), has upgraded its Cloud-Native Data Security (CNDS) framework to help organizations safeguard information stored in the cloud.

The company today introduced the following CNDS framework upgrades at its Cloud-Native Data Security Summit:

  • Autonomous Remediation: Provides end users with IT policy violation alerts, along with instructions to help users correct IT policy violations.
  • Cloud Email DLP: Scans both email message and cloud attachments for data loss prevention (DLP) violations across Exchange Online, OneDrive and other Office 365 services.
  • Lightning Link: Blends the coverage capabilities of the application programming interface (API) model of cloud security with the real-time enforcement capabilities of the in-line model.

Ultimately, the aforementioned capabilities enable organizations to leverage the power of the cloud to speed up their day-to-day operations, Skyhigh said in a prepared statement. They allow organizations to identify, control and protect data in the cloud, Skyhigh noted, and ensure organizations can solve the security challenges associated with the scale, speed and user-centric nature of the cloud.

The new capabilities are now available via the Skyhigh Security Cloud platform, which provides cloud security policy enforcement, automation and intelligence for billions of transactions, according to the company.

What Do the CNDS Framework Upgrades Mean for Channel Partners?

With the CNDS framework upgrades, channel partners are better equipped than ever before to help their customers securely adopt cloud solutions and use these solutions to accelerate their growth, Skyhigh CEO Rajiv Gupta said in a prepared statement.

In addition, the CNDS framework upgrades ensure organizations can retrieve, analyze and share data, Gupta stated, and reap the benefits of a data-centric and cloud-native security platform.

Skyhigh works with MSPs, systems integrators and other channel partners, enabling these partners to provide professional and managed cloud security solutions to their customers.

The company also offers health checks, implementation and configuration and ongoing managed security services that enable customers to leverage its cloud security platform, according to Skyhigh.

Skyhigh provides cloud security solutions to help organizations adopt software-as-a-service (SaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud services. Today, the company delivers cloud visibility and management solutions to more than 600 organizations globally.
