Trustwave, a Top 100 MSSP that provides compliance, threat and vulnerability management services, has added Canadian voice, data and media services company Uniserve Communications to its global channel partner program.

With the partnership, Uniserve will provide Trustwave managed security services to its customers across Canada, according to a prepared statement.

What Does the Partnership Mean for Both Companies?

The partnership enables Uniserve to bolster its security product, Director of Managed Services Sarah Morton said. Uniserve now enables its customers to leverage Trustwave's managed security services to scan, monitor and respond to cyber threats, Morton stated, and access the company's cybersecurity experts.

For Trustwave, the pact helps the company further accelerate its global expansion. Trustwave currently has customers in 96 countries, and Uniserve allows the company to deliver its managed security services across Canada.

What Is the Trustwave Global Channel Partner Program?

The Trustwave global channel partner program enables managed service providers (MSPs), telecommunications companies, value-added resellers (VARs) and other organizations to deliver the company's integrated security technologies and managed security services. It also allows channel partners to provide information security and compliance management programs, Trustwave said, and ensure customers can meet security and compliance requirements.

Key features of the Trustwave global channel partner program include:

  • Account support.
  • Revenue opportunities.
  • Sales and marketing enablement tools and training.
  • Unified, solution-driven technologies.

In addition, Trustwave in November added the Trustwave Academy for Partners online learning system and Trustwave Partner Hub partner portal to help its partners offer customers security solutions and managed security services, according to a prepared statement.

The Trustwave Academy for Partners enables partners to enroll and complete formal training courses to learn about customer security and compliance challenges, the company said. It provides partners with video-based curricula to teach them about Trustwave's competitive advantages and help them identify new revenue opportunities.

Meanwhile, the Trustwave Partner Hub is a self-service portal that provides partners with access to marketing materials, sales information, technical support and product documentation, the company indicated. It also features research, case studies and security reports from SpiderLabs, Trustwave's team of ethical hackers, forensic investigators and security researchers.
