1. MSP Ransomware Attack Recovery Effort: Advanced, a cloud MSP, has hired Mandiant and Microsoft DART (Detection and Response Team)  to assist with a ransomware attack recovery effort.

2. MDR Service for Microsoft Defender: KHIPU of South Africa has introduced a cloud-native MDR security service. The effort includes a SOC-Lite service that transforms Microsoft Defender endpoint security into a 24x7x365 SOC, the company asserts.

3. Endpoint Security – Broadband Services: Calix has launched Servify Care, which allows broadband service providers (BSPs) to deliver and manage device protection for their subscribers.

4. IT Services – Australia Government Cybersecurity: Wipro has launched Wipro Shelde Australia, a sovereign cybersecurity offering for the Australian government and critical infrastructure industries. The launch leverages the Ampion acquisition of 2021.

5. China – Alleged Data Breach: A hacker has claimed to have obtained the personal information of 48.5 million users of a COVID health code mobile app run by the city of Shanghai, the second claim of a breach of the Chinese financial hub’s data in just over a month, Reuters reported.
