1. Arctic Wolf’s Next Move?: Security operations platform provider Arctic Wolf is seeking to raise roughly $300 million in convertible debt while waiting for more favorable conditions in the IPO (initial public offering) market, a report indicated.
2. Palo Alto Networks vs. SIEM: Palo Alto Networks’ new SOC (security operations center) platform — known as XSIAM — has found its first paying customer, and a broader industry rollout is planned within the next six months, Chief Product Officer Lee Klarich said.
3. Cyber Insurance Rejection?: Amid rising cyber insurance rates and mixed outcomes, major software firms and retailers have either nixed or are considering ditching cyber insurance, The Information reports.

Partnership – Autonomous Vehicle Security: The Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) and Fortress Information Security are partnering to develop an “enterprise cybersecurity model and a suite of voluntary standards to address cyber risks specific to uncrewed systems and robotics,” the two organizations said.

Identity and Access Management (IAM): BeyondTrust has unveiled the BeyondTrust Platform, featuring a “modern architecture that delivers unprecedented visibility of identities and access across an organization’s entire digital estate, from on-premises to cloud, hybrid and operational technology environments,” the company asserted.
13. Talent – Data Security: Virtru has hired Mishi Choudhary as senior VP and general counsel.
14. Talent: Claroty has named Joshua Corman as vice president of cyber safety strategy. Corman will lead Claroty’s cyber safety efforts by “engaging with government partners on public policy development, supporting Claroty’s product and vertical strategy, and leading industry-specific education efforts across critical infrastructure sectors,” the company said.
15. MSP Software – Data Protection: Axcient has announced Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) enhancements and expanded reporting capabilities for partners, including dashboard visibility into backup health, the company said.
