Balance Theory offers a new collaborative workspace platform that allows cybersecurity teams to "more easily and efficiently communicate and track progress," the company announced a prepared statement.
Balance Theory's Cybersecurity Advantage
A cybersecurity team can integrate the assets from their organization's security program into Balance Theory's platform, the company said. From here, team members can use Balance Theory's templating engine and visualization framework to analyze their security program. This can help team members generate insights into their program's costs and effectiveness and look for ways to improve their program.
In addition, the platform enables cybersecurity team members to share content with one another, Balance Theory said. Team members also can use the platform to establish security templates to speed up threat response and remediation. Balance Theory's platform works in conjunction with other security tools to help cybersecurity teams find ways to get the most value out of their investments.

Balance Theory Adds Seed Funding
Along with announcing its collaborative workspace platform for cybersecurity teams, Balance Theory has raised $3 million in an oversubscribed seed funding round led by global cyber foundry DataTribe.
The funding will help Balance Theory explore ways to "deliver more comprehensive and resilient cybersecurity programs that can keep pace with rapid industry change," CEO Greg Baker said. Balance Theory also will continue to look for ways to help cybersecurity teams achieve the best outcomes, regardless of their size or budget.
Balance Theory was founded in 2022 by cybersecurity industry veterans from Fortune 500 companies and the U.S. Intelligence Community. After Balance Theory's collaborative workspace platform for cybersecurity teams becomes generally available, the company may offer a partner program or provide other opportunities for MSSPs to utilize its platform.
