Anomali Unveils Cloud XDR Solution: Here’s What MSSPs Need to Know

Anomali has launched its Cloud-Native XDR solution, which provides visibility across an organization's security telemetry from its endpoints to the public cloud, the company asserts.

The Cloud-Native XDR works with Anomali's repository of threat intelligence and indicators of compromise (IOCs) to help users find ways to optimize their existing security infrastructure investments, the company added.

In addition, Cloud-Native XDR can be integrated with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and other security frameworks, Anomali noted.

Meanwhile, the Anomali partner program includes an MSSP track. Also, Tenable veteran Chris Peterson joined Anomali as VP of global channel and technology partnerships in January 2022. Furthermore, Anomali previously announced its Technology Partner Program in September 2021.

eXtended Detection and Response (XDR) Market

The XDR market is growing but crowded. Indeed, more than nine in 10 organizations were either working on an extended detection and response (XDR) project or planning an XDR investment as of late 2020, according to a sponsored by security provider Hunters and executed by ESG Research.

Amid that market reality, security companies from multiple backgrounds (EDR, MDR, SIEM, SOAR, etc.) now tout XDR capabilities. Some of those vendors also tout Open XDR capabilities -- which allows MSSPs and customers to leverage their existing EDR and endpoint security tools rather than replacing them.
