Ensono, Alert Logic Deliver AWS Threat Detection
Ensono, a managed service provider (MSP) that specializes in hybrid IT services, is leveraging the Alert Logic Cloud Defender security-as-a-service (SECaaS) solution to deliver a managed security service to Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers.
The Ensono-Alert Logic managed security service provides continuous AWS monitoring and threat detection and response, according to a prepared statement. By doing so, the service helps AWS customers secure their data, workloads and applications.
The managed security service combines security tools, analysts and operational capabilities from Alert Logic with Ensono’s AWS managed services and infrastructure security expertise, the companies stated. That way, organizations can use the service to detect and remediate threats in AWS environments.
With the managed security service, organizations can leverage Alert Logic’s machine learning and anomaly detection capabilities to validate cyber threats. If a threat is legitimate, Alert Logic security analysts work with Ensono’s operations and support teams to implement a response plan, according to the companies.
In addition, Ensono’s operations and support teams work directly with AWS customers to remediate cyberattacks, the company said. They provide AWS customers with security operations center (SOC) support to ensure organizations can address cyberattacks, comply with industry mandates and lower their cybersecurity costs.
