Securonix, a security information and event management (SIEM) software platform provider, has launched a “bring your own cloud” program in conjunction with Amazon Web Services (AWS), according to a prepared statement.
The bring your own cloud program lets organizations simultaneously use Securonix’s SIEM platform and maintain ownership of their data in AWS, the company stated. That way, the program empowers organizations to leverage Securonix’s platform to secure data across their AWS environments.
With the bring your own cloud program, Securonix hosts SIEM application services on its AWS account and provides all operational configuration and management of the entire infrastructure, the company said. Meanwhile, data ingestion, processing and storage is hosted on a customer’s AWS account.
Furthermore, the program allows customers to pay AWS directly for compute and storage resources across their data pipeline, Securonix noted. It also ensures that there are no unexpected markup costs.
Securonix Joins the AWS Marketplace Advantage Program
In addition to launching the bring your own cloud program, Securonix has joined the AWS Marketplace Advantage Go-to-Market (GTM) program.
The AWS Marketplace Advantage GTM program offers GTM support and GTM best practices, Securonix stated. In doing so, it can help Securonix drive demand and awareness for its SIEM platform.
To date, Securonix has achieved AWS Security Competency status, the company stated. It also has several hundred successful deployments of the Securonix platform on AWS.
Securonix’s SIEM platform combines security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), log management and user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) capabilities, the company noted. It collects security data in real time, uses machine learning algorithms to identify cyber threats and provides artificial intelligence-based incident response.
