Sumo Logic Unveils AWS Cloud SIEM Solution

Sumo Logic, a security information and event management (SIEM) solutions provider that works with MSSPs, has announced Sumo Logic Cloud SIEM Powered by AWS.

The offering integrates Sumo Logic's compliance, security analytics and cloud SIEM technologies with AWS security services and cloud-based SaaS and on-premises security services, the company said. It provides insights that organizations can use to eliminate security blind spots across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Cloud SIEM delivers security insights and contextualized threat data across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, according to Sumo Logic. In doing so, it helps organizations accelerate threat detection and response.

Furthermore, Cloud SIEM provides security monitoring, visibility and alerting capabilities, Sumo Logic stated. It also offers cross-source threat correlation with machine learning detection, automation and orchestration.

Cloud SIEM is available for purchase and deployment via the AWS Marketplace. It can be used with third-party SaaS and on-premises security tools, as well as AWS CloudTrail, Amazon GuardDuty and other AWS security services.

Sumo Logic Acquires DFLabs, Introduces Multi-Account Management Solution

The Cloud SIEM announcement comes after Sumo Logic in May 2021 finalized its acquisition of DFLabs. With the acquisition, DFLabs will provide Sumo Logic customers with cloud-native security intelligence solutions and help them leverage modern applications, architectures and multi-cloud infrastructure.

Also, Sumo Logic in May 2021 unveiled its Sumo Organizations multi-account management solution. MSSPs, MSPs and managed detection and response (MDR) providers can use Sumo Organizations to gain visibility into application issues and security risks across their operations.

Sumo Logic's platform allows organizations to obtain security, operations and business intelligence. It is used by more than 2,100 customers globally.
