Cohesity Expands Data Security Alliance, Unveils New Integrations

Cohesity, a data security and management company, has announced that Netskope, ServiceNow and Zscaler have joined its Data Security Alliance.

The company made the announcement at its Catalyst virtual summit, taking place May 23-25.

Data Security Alliance members help organizations "detect threats and respond to attacks faster, improve remediation and advance cyber resilience — all while utilizing their existing security and data management investments," Cohesity stated.

Cohesity introduced its Data Security Alliance in November 2022. Along with Netskope, ServiceNow and Zscaler, several cybersecurity companies are members of the Data Security Alliance, including:

New Integrations Available to Cohesity Data Security Alliance Members

In addition to announcing new Data Security Alliance members, Cohesity has unveiled the following new or advanced integrations with its Cohesity Data Cloud data security and management platform:

  • A CrowdStrike integration that provides closed-loop detection and response for cyberattacks within the CrowdStrike Falcon platform
  • A ServiceNow integration that utilizes the ServiceNow Security Operations product to provide closed-loop detection and response for ransomware attacks
  • A new, re-architected integration with Tenable that powers Cohesity's CyberScan marketplace app

Cohesity CEO Sanjay Poonen commented on his company's new partnerships and integrations:

Cohesity Expands Partnership with Google Cloud, Eyes AI for Data Security

Together, Cohesity and Google Cloud will "help organizations unlock the power of generative AI and data," the companies announced at Catalyst.

Cohesity is extending Cohesity Data Security for deep integrations with Google Cloud's Vertex AI machine learning platform, the companies said. This will enable the businesses' joint customers to generate insights from the same data that they are securing and managing on Cohesity's platform.

Furthermore, Cohesity unveiled Cohesity Turing at Catalyst. Cohesity Turing consists of AI technologies that bring the power of AI to data security and management, Cohesity stated.

Cohesity helps organizations secure and protect their data across their data center and cloud environments. The company offers a partner program for MSSPs, MSPs and other technology providers.
