CrowdStrike Endpoint Protection Launches Cybersecurity Search Engine

CrowdStrike, which develops a cloud-based endpoint protection platform, has launched the Falcon Search Engine for cybersecurity data. In addition, the company unveiled the Falcon MalQuery malware search and intelligence component of the search engine as part of its summer product release.

The Falcon Search Engine is the fastest and largest search engine for cybersecurity data, the company claimed in a prepared statement. It is built on the CrowdStrike Falcon cyber threat intelligence and threat research platform, and helps organizations accelerate and improve the malware research capabilities in their security operations centers (SOCs).

Meanwhile, Falcon MalQuery provides organizations with the ability to explore the largest searchable database of malware in the industry -- another bold company claim -- and is available to existing customers as an additional service or can be purchased as a standalone offering.

MSSP Alert has not independently confirmed the company's search performance claims.

CrowdStrike Falcon blends antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), managed threat hunting and threat intelligence capabilities to help organizations stop data breaches. It collects and analyzes more than 30 billion endpoint events per day from millions of sensors deployed across 176 countries, the company stated.
