MACH37 Invests in IoT, Endpoint Security Company Cervais
MACH37, an information security accelerator for entrepreneurs and cyber startups, has invested in Internet of Things (IoT) and endpoint protection company Cervais, according to a prepared statement. The news comes after Cervais completed MACH37’s 90-day program designed to help the company develop a sustainable business model.
Cervais will use the MACH37 investment to complete production of its prototypes and secure intellectual property, the company stated. It also will utilize the investment to prepare for a product launch that is expected to take place later this year.
A Closer Look at Cervais’ Cybersecurity Offerings
Cervais offers e-Risk Mobile Data Protector, a cybersecurity solution that employs an Inteli-Sense Analytics (ISA) engine that manages various artificial intelligence algorithms. e-Risk Mobile’s features include:
- Blockchain Technology: Uses blockchain technology to auto-provision IoT devices.
- e-Sense: Coordinates the sharing of real-time threat information with other e-Risk communities.
- Incident Response: Retrieves attack-context data as input to incident response intelligence and provides pre-execution insights and detonation intelligence.
e-Risk Mobile applies predictive analytics to monitor and detect anomalies from inbound and outbound attack vectors associated with an end-user’s endpoint and neutralizes cyber threats, Cervais noted. It also uses machine learning to identify, locate, authenticate, notify and protect user endpoint devices, regardless of location.
Along with e-Risk Mobile, Cervais provides myriad cybersecurity services, including penetration testing, risk and vulnerability assessments and security policy and compliance offerings. These services can help organizations develop, improve or communicate their security and privacy strategies, the company indicated.
