Webroot Unveils SecureAnywhere Endpoint Protection Certification for MSPs, VARs

Webroot, the provider of endpoint security, network security and threat intelligence solutions, has launched a certification program to help MSPs, value-added resellers (VARs) and other partners sell and support its SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection solution.

The free, self-paced certification program is designed for sales professionals and service technicians and enables partners to increase their knowledge of SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection, the company said in a company statement.

With the program's sales track, sales professionals can receive an overview of SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection's features and differentiators, the company noted.

Meanwhile, the program's technical track provides best practices for deploying and supporting SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection, Webroot stated, and can help partners' technical teams deploy, manage and troubleshoot customer sites.

To become a Webroot Certified Partner, at least one employee must attain a sales certification and one must attain a technical certification.

SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection helps safeguard organizations against threats from a variety of sources, including:

  • Connected devices.
  • Display ads.
  • Email.
  • File attachments.
  • Hyperlinks.

Webroot Reports Double-Digit Business Growth in Q3 2017

Webroot. back by its partners, have been in growth mode. For its third fiscal quarter of 2017, the company generated:

  • Double-digit year-over-year bookings growth.
  • Business segment bookings growth of 31 percent on a quarterly basis.
  • Consumer segment bookings growth of 3 percent.

Also, Webroot added more than 850 MSP partners during the quarter and currently protects more than 8,800 MSP customers, the company said in a prepared statement. Overall, Webroot safeguards more than 190,000 businesses worldwide.
