Zero Trust Endpoint Security Company ThreatLocker Adds $100M in Funding

Dollar Seedling – Growth Concept – Sprout On Banknotes In Increase

ThreatLocker, a zero trust endpoint security solution provider, has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round and increases its total financing to date to at least $124.5 million.

The Series C funding will help ThreatLocker accelerate product innovation, hire top talent and expand globally, the company said. It comes after ThreatLocker quadrupled its revenue and workforce in 2021.

A Closer Look at ThreatLocker

ThreatLocker enables MSSPs and MSPs to deliver application whitelisting, ringfencing and storage control solutions. That way, MSSPs and MSPs can protect their customers against malicious and misused software, the company noted.

MSSPs and MSPs can use ThreatLocker's application whitelisting solution to stop fileless malware and limit damage from application exploits, the company indicated. They also can audit scripts and libraries executed across customers' endpoints.

With ThreatLocker's ringfencing solution, MSSPs and MSPs can add firewall-like boundaries to control how customer applications interact with other apps, the company stated. This ensures MSSPs and MSPs can minimize the risk that cybercriminals can infiltrate customer software and use it to launch cyberattacks.

Meanwhile, ThreatLocker's storage control solution ensures MSSPs and MSPs can control the flow and access of data, the company said. The solution lets MSSPs and MSPs manage access to their customers' external storage devices and audit all file access on USB, network and local hard drives.

ThreatLocker Expands Its US Operations

The Series C funding comes after ThreatLocker in August 2021 opened a new corporate headquarters in Orlando, Florida. With the new HQ, ThreatLocker is better positioned to hire employees to fill marketing, product and sales positions and expand its offerings in North America, the company said.

ThreatLocker delivers security solutions used by organizations in government, healthcare and other industries. It also provides a channel partner program that offers sales and marketing collateral, lead generation campaigns and other benefits to MSSPs and MSPs that incorporate its solutions into their portfolios.
