Fortinet Partners with Siemens, Orange Business Services

Fortinet has announced partnerships with Siemens and Orange Business Services on the cybersecurity and SD-WAN fronts, respectively.

Siemens has joined Fortinet’s Fabric-Ready Technology Alliance Partner Program, according to a prepared statement. As a Fortinet partner, Siemens will deliver solutions to help organizations address IT and OT network security challenges.

Fortinet and Siemens also have unveiled an integrated solution that combines Fortinet’s FortiGate next-generation firewall with Siemens’ Ruggedcom Multi-Service Platform family of switches and routers. The solution provides a single, integrated appliance for OT networks, the companies stated.

Meanwhile, Orange has integrated Fortinet Secure SD-WAN into its flagship Flexible SD-WAN offering. This ensures that Flexible SD-WAN users can leverage an agile, multicloud-ready connectivity solution, Orange stated.

Fortinet Expands Cloud Security Offerings

In addition to its Siemens and Orange partnerships, Fortinet this month expanded the Fortinet Security Fabric’s security offerings with Microsoft Azure.

FortiGate Secure SD-WAN now integrates with Azure Virtual WAN to provide centralized management of connected clouds across offices and regions, Fortinet indicated. Furthermore, Fortinet launched a Fortinet FortiCWP integration with Azure that provides organizations with visibility into their cloud workloads activity and configurations and the ability to analyze data stored in Microsoft Azure blobs.

How Did Fortinet Perform in 3Q19?

Fortinet’s recent partnerships and Azure integrations could help the company boost its earnings following a profitable third quarter of 2019.

Fortinet recorded total revenue of $547.5 million in 3Q19, up 21 percent year over year. Also, the company posted total billings of $626.6 million, which represented a 19 percent year-over-year increase.
