Respond Software Unveils Palo Alto Networks, Splunk SOAR Integrations

Respond Software has integrated its Respond Analyst security analysis software with Palo Alto Networks Demisto, Splunk Phantom and ServiceNow Security Operations, according to a prepared statement. In doing so, Respond customers can leverage security automation, orchestration and response (SOAR) capabilities.

The Respond Analyst integrations work in combination with SOAR platforms to enrich security alerts, determine if they are actionable and trigger remediation playbooks, Respond said. They allow organizations to monitor, correlate, scope and triage security events and help accelerate mean time to detection (MTTD) and mean time to remediation (MTTR).

A Closer Look at Respond Analyst

Respond Analyst works with an organization's existing threat detection solutions to escalate vetted, pertinent security incidents, Respond said. When used in combination with SOAR solutions, Respond Analyst automates security analysis, investigation and triage and vets all security incidents.

In addition, Respond Analyst uses all available data to help organizations make fast, informed security decisions, Respond indicated. It also provides more than 42 equivalent Tier 1 analysts to each customer on average and does not require scripting or ongoing maintenance.

Respond Software Secures $20 Million

The Respond Analyst SOAR integrations come after Respond in May 2019 raised $20 million in Series B funding led by growth equity firm ClearSky Security. Respond is using the funding to accelerate its go-to-market operations and expand its customer success teams.

Respond also is targeting channel partners. It launched a partner program for resellers, VARs and MSPs in January, and Respond partners include GuidepointOneNeck IT SolutionsReva Solutions and Veristor Systems.
