Comodo has launched a security operations center-as-a-platform (SOCaaP) offering for MSSPs and MSPs. The offering lets service providers deliver cybersecurity as a billable managed service, according to a prepared statement.
MSSPs and MSPs can use Comodo's SOCaaP to integrate endpoint, network and cloud security capabilities into their portfolios, the company said. They also can leverage SOCaaP to provide white-labeled, co-managed threat detection and response services.
SOCaaP is designed to help MSSPs and MSPs eliminate false-positive security alerts and reduce attacker dwell time, Comodo indicated. It empowers MSSPs and MSPs to use Comodo's patented auto containment technology to neutralize ransomware, malware and other cyberattacks.
In addition, SOCaaP is integrated with Comodo's cybersecurity platform, the company said. It has built-in cloud connectors that integrate with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Google Workspace and other cloud services and a multi-tenant security information and event management (SIEM) platform.
What Does SOCaap Offer MSSPs and MSPs?
MSSPs and MSPs can use SOCaaP to "ramp up their revenues," Comodo CEO Melih Abdulhayoglu said. SOCaaP provides MSSPs and MSP with a wide range of security capabilities, including:
- Endpoint management
- Endpoint protection
- Incident and response management
- Threat hunting
- Network security monitoring
- Custom log storage with configurable retention
- Vulnerability scanners
- Compliance reporting
SOCaaP also includes a ConnectWise Manage integration, Comodo said. The integration allows MSSPs and MSPs to use the ConnectWise professional services automation (PSA) platform to automate customer onboarding while ingesting security logs into SOCaaP.
Comodo's SOCaaP is now available on a subscription basis. It can be used in conjunction with various PSA products.
