Telos Targets Amazon AWS Cloud Vulnerability Management

Telos has released Xacta.io 1.5, a new version of its cyber risk and compliance analytics platform.

Xacta.io 1.5 provides vulnerability and asset management support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud resources, according to Telos. It enables users to scan their AWS cloud resources and import the results into Xacta.io.

In addition, Xacta.io 1.5 offers several scanner integrations, including:

  • Splunk: Provides a common information model (CIM) to help normalize data to match a common standard.
  • Amazon Inspector: Tests the network accessibility of Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances and the security state of applications that run on those instances
  • Xacta HostInfo: Provides a data-gathering application that can be used manage security risk and compliance of containerized systems and workloads running supported operating systems; Xacta HostInfo was developed by Telos that can be deployed as an agent or a utility tool from a host computer or a cloud environment

Xacta.io 1.5 users can gather security data and utilize it to make informed decisions relating to system authorization, remediation prioritization, process and status reporting, resource investments and risk avoidance, Telos noted. In doing so, they can use the platform to automate control validation of on-premises and cloud-based resources.

Along with Xacta.io, Telos offers cybersecurity solutions for IT risk management and information security. It also provides cloud and enterprise security solutions to help organizations protect their assets and comply with industry and government security standards.
