Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. has added to its quantum cyber security platform with the release of Check Point Quantum Titan, the cybersecurity company said in a prepared statement.

Quantum Titan delivers three new software blades that use artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, to deliver advanced threat prevention against domain name system exploits (DNS) and phishing, as well as autonomous internet of things (IoT) security, the company said.

Additionally, Check Point Quantum Titan can provide both IoT device discovery and automatically apply zero-trust threat prevention profiles to protect IoT devices.

Eyal Manor, vice president of Product Management at Check Point Software Technologies, noted that advantages of Quantum Titan:

“Keeping up with the ever-evolving threat landscape is becoming more complex and challenging, especially when traditional network security management tools need weeks, if not months, to process updates. The new Quantum Titan platform, powered by AI and deep learning, is faster and more effective, bringing together innovative capabilities to help stop even more threats.”

Smarter and More Efficient Cybersecurity

Check Point explained that Quantum Titan “addresses the need for better security and less complexity by consolidating and automating threat prevention technologies, processes and policies. This enables smarter and more efficient protection across an organization’s complex, distributed networks both on-premise and in the cloud.”

Check Point Quantum Titan’s capabilities include:

  • Threat prevention with new AI Deep Learning engines. Quantum Titan introduces two new software blades that leverages AI and deep learning technologies and stops five times more DNS attacks. It also prevents four times more zero-day phishing vulnerabilities compared to traditional signature-based technologies.
  • Unique autonomous IoT security. The new version of Quantum IoT Software blade enables quick and efficient discovery for every IoT device. It automatically applies zero-trust profiles so organization can start preventing attacks in less than five minutes.
  • Business driven security performance. Quantum Titan delivers a significant performance boost for critical applications with more 20 features focused on efficiency and performance. With auto-scaling, the platform instantly prioritizes applications and large workloads during peak periods or to cope with unexpected traffic spikes.

Check Point Software Offers MSSP Program

Check Point Software’s newly added MSSP partner program allows MSSPs to use its Horizon security operations suite to boost their earnings and protect their customers against cyberattacks, MSSP Alert reported on October 13.

The program lets MSSPs apply Horizon to deliver security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) without an upfront investment. MSSPs can supplement their current services with SOCaaS or deliver new services built on Horizon, and also provide co-branded versions of Check Point’s Incident Response services.
