CyberClan, a managed security services provider (MSSP), has appointed Larry Whiteside Jr. as its CTO and John H. Frey as its director of global channels and alliances, according to a prepared statement. Furthermore, CyberClan has doubled its global team over the past four months, though actual headcount figures were not disclosed.
Whiteside will lead CyberClan's efforts to bolster its cybersecurity technology stack, the company said. Meanwhile, Frey will be responsible for building relationships with partners to expand CyberClan's market reach.
Whiteside has over 25 years of experience in building and managing cybersecurity programs, CyberClan indicated. He is a co-founder of the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals (ICMCP) and has served as an advisor for SentinelOne, Ping Identity and other cybersecurity companies.
Frey has 25 years of leadership experience with global organizations, CyberClan stated. He has held leadership roles at several technology solution providers, including IBM and Veritas.
