AWS re:Inforce 2021 Cloud Security Conference: Now Virtual Only

AWS re:Inforce 2021, a cloud security conference from Amazon Web Services, was scheduled for August 24-25 in Houston, Texas. But the face-to-face event was canceled amid COVID-19 Delta variant concerns. A virtual event will be held August 24.
The virtual AWS re:Inforce 2021 conference will feature content that addresses:
- data protection and privacy;
- governance, risk and compliance;
- identity and access management (IAM); and
- threat detection and incident response.
AWS Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Stephen Schmidt is scheduled to keynote the event.
Dozens of MSSPs attended the AWS re:Inforce 2019 conference. The 2020 face-to-face event, similar to the 2021 face-to-face gathering, was canceled amid the coronavirus pandemic.
