LimaCharlie Security Infrastructure-as-a-Service Adds Seed Funding

LimaCharlie, a company that specializes in security infrastructure-as-a-service (SIaaS), has raised $500,000 in seed funding from venture firm and founding partner Lytical Ventures. The company will use the funding to explore growth opportunities and bolster its endpoint-based information security tools and infrastructure offering, according to a prepared statement.

MSSPs and MSPs can use LimaCharlie's SIaaS to deliver information security tools and infrastructure to global organizations, the company said. SIaaS serves as a lightweight, cross-platform sensor that provides organizations with visibility across their endpoints.

LimaCharlie's SIaaS is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and can be deployed on servers, mobile phones and other devices, the company noted. Regardless of device, the service provides the same information and control abilities via a cloud portal.

Furthermore, LimaCharlie's SIaaS can be used across remote workforces, the company indicated. This ensures that organizations can use SIaaS to track endpoint activity in the midst of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

LimaCharlie's SIaaS is available for MSSPs and MSPs via a "only pay for what you use" pricing model, and no contracts are required, the company stated. That way, MSSPs and MSPs pay only for active agents on a monthly basis and can use SIaaS to build and monetize their own security offerings.
