10. Scanning: Digital Defense Inc. has launched Daylight Scanning Time with Frontline Vulnerability Manager (a.k.a. Frontline VM), a cloud-based vulnerability management platform.
9. Hackers: A hacker group known as KeyBoy, believed to be operating out of China, has resurfaced with a new campaign, targeting various organizations in Western nations, according to International Business Times.
8. Kaspersky Technology Partners?: Kaspersky apparently removed nearly 70 partner references from the company's website in August, according to Fortune. It's unclear if vendors requested the removals or if Kaspersky made the changes on its own. The U.S. government alleges that Kaspersky has ties to Russia's government, and federal agencies have been removing the company's software from government networks. The security government denies the allegations. CEO Eugene Kaspersky said his company’s widely used antivirus software has copied files that did not threaten the personal computers of those customers, a sharp departure from industry practice that could increase suspicions that the Moscow-based firm aids Russian spies, according to Reuters.
7. DDoS: Zain Group’s fully owned global services subsidiary, Mada Communications is rolling out a new Distribution Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation offering to its country operations and international roaming customers, Zain says.

4. Equifax Stock Sales: Four Equifax executives who sold stock in the days after the company discovered a security breach had no knowledge of the incident when they made the trades, Bloomberg reported.
