5. Wisconsin Data Breach: Manitowoc County in Wisconsin is warning citizens about a phishing-related data breach...

4. Slowing Sophos Growth: Shares in Sophos fell nearly 20 percent in one day last week after the security software company warned of slowing billings growth.

3. Lawsuit: Two insurance companies are seeking $30 million from Trustwave, alleging the MSSP was responsible for a 2008 data breach at  Heartland Payment Systems. Trustwave says the lawsuit is without merit.

2. M&A: Avensus has acquired Auditconnect, uniting two Dutch-based IT service providers focused on privacy and information security.

1. M&A - Penetration Testing Acquisition: Claranet has acquired ethical hacking training and penetration testing firm NotSoSecure. We'll share more details soon.
