2. Datto Does Security? Yup. The company is best-known as a business continuity specialist focused entirely on MSPs. But Datto has launched a unified threat management (UTM) appliance, and board member Steve Herrod is an investor in five cybersecurity companies. Also, Datto Chief Information Security Officer Ryan Weeks is focused on product, employee and customer security issues. We’ll share more thoughts from Weeks later today.
