2. Funding – Data Store and Object Security (DSOS): Symmetry Systems has emerged from stealth a year after raising $3 million in seed funding. The round was led by ForgePoint Capital and Prefix Capital. Symmetry Systems’ flagship solution, DataGuard, provides unified visibility into data objects across all data stores, answering data security and compliance questions that traditional tools cannot, the company says.
3. Firewalls: SonicWall today unveiled new zero touch-enabled, multi-gigabit SonicWall TZ firewalls with SD-Branch capabilities, along with a redesigned cloud-native management console that helps streamline operations through fresh and modern user interfaces.
4. Partnership – OT/ICS: Claroty and Check Point Software Technologies have inked a technical alliance that allows customers and partners to protect and operational technology and industrial control system (ICS) networks from cyberattacks.
